LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU…

There is more to you than what you see! What a well of potential there is in you that you have never tapped into yet! Weather you realize it or not (or believe it or not), God created you with the most amazing talents, abilities, creativity, love, and many other wonderful characteristics, most of which you probably don’t even see manifesting yet in your own life.

Picture yourself going by a cemetery with hundreds or even thousands of headstones. It can be overwhelming sometimes when you see so many memorials of people who have gone on before us. I can’t help but think of all the people who have passed away having never reached the potential of the fullness of life that God designed for them. If you ponder it for a while, it is staggering to think of how many inventions, bits of wisdom, businesses ideas, works of ministry, mentors, and leaders who went to the grave with all those God-given gifts still lying in them completely unused.

How many lives would be affected today by the gifts that these people had to offer the world? How many people’s destiny could have been forever changed and redirected towards greatness as a result of just one person allowing God to show them ways to develop and release those treasures inside them? Not only would the lives of those around them have benefited from this “development” process that was taking place in them, but they would have experienced a life that far exceeded their highest expectations!

Jesus said a powerful statement in the book of John chapter 10. Verse 10 says, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” –KJV

After you gloss over that verse you may think, “well that’s a nice verse!” but let me show you something that may only be obvious to those that read it closely. Jesus explained the work of the enemy as well has His own work. While describing His purpose for coming, He said, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” –KJV Jesus said that He wanted us to have Life (naturally as well as supernaturally being alive in our spirits unto God instead of dead because of sin), however not just Life, but Life abundantly! And not just Life abundantly, BUT Life MORE abundantly!!

Now, let me point your attention to something that may not have been quite as obvious. If you study this verse out in it’s original language you will find that this word “abundantly” in the Greek has a few definitions that are worth making note of. The Greek word perissos or “abundantly” is described as:superabundant (in quantity) or superior (in quality), and advantage.

Did you catch that??!!

Jesus came on this earth to give you a Life that is superabundant in quantity, superior in quality, and gives you an advantage in life! Wow, that’s good!!

Jesus said in John 8:12 that, “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” –KJV

The term darkness refers to those who have not developed their spirits to the point that they no longer live after their fleshly desires but after their spirit–they live in darkness. Darkness is sense knowledge or flesh knowledge. But, what you know by your senses in the natural will only get you so far. Light, however refers to those who walk after God, being led in their spirits by the Holy Spirit. Experiencing the Light of Life goes beyond your senses and into the spirit realm! Light is the wisdom and ability imparted to us by God’s ability.

Proverbs 20:27 says, “The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.” – KJV

I don’t know about you, but I’d rather have the Light living on the inside of me so I’m not stumbling around in this dark world. When our spirits are led by God’s Spirit, He will guide us by this light into the dark mysteries of the world! The spirit-led believer operates and lives in a power that is far greater than their own abilities or wisdom. The spirit-led believer will always have “the advantage” in life to experience a life that is superabundant in quantity, and superior in quality!

The only way to find true success in life is to develop your relationship with Jesus Christ. He is the Life Giver! When you have developed your spirit (or heart) to be sensitive to the wisdom and guidance of God’s Holy Spirit, you will continue to tap in to the deeper riches of the Light of Life in you, that others are still hopelessly and blindingly trying to find on their own.

1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Live everyday for God. Don’t ever quit reading the Bible, and spending time in prayer. This will allow God to speak into your life and will develop your spirit, giving you the great advantage of a life in faith, and a life in the spirit!

Be blessed!!!
